SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. It is neither a solicitation nor a request for quote (RFQ) and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Request for solicitation will not receive a response. The Government will not pay nor reimburse any costs of preparing this response. The sources sought notice is for market research purposes to make the appropriate acquisition decision and gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, with an associated size standard of 1,250 employees.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 Orlando Contracting Team is seeking interested sources for upgrading our Chapel Audio Visual System that is used to stream all events live through their in-house cable TV feed. Most of the existing AV system will remain in place and new equipment will be installed to provide additional wireless and wall-mounted microphone coverage, government furnished equipment (GFE) display audio ingests, and wall-mounted microphone control for the Orlando VA Medical Center (OVAMC). See attached documentation for the salient characteristics. If your business can meet or exceed the requirement, please provide a capability statement.
The capability statement shall be limited to no more than five pages and must clearly state the following: Capability in industry to manufacture or provide the required Audio Visual Equipment. Offerors who cannot provide historical information from their company regarding the outlined attachment or similar scope and scale should provide corresponding information to show how the company would meet the OVAMC requirements. This should provide confidence to the Government that an offeror would meet or exceed the delivery requirements to provide the required product.
Scope of Work: Provide the following equipment to include all personnel, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and incidental services necessary to furnish, deliver, install, integrate, test, and commission the required AV commodities.
Equipment List: Digital Audio Network Interface (DANTE) - One (1ea). Supports transport of professional-quality digital audio over Ethernet, compatible with Section 4 GFE. AUDIO CONFERENCING PROCESSOR - One (1ea). Central processing engine with features like Acoustic Echo Cancellation, Automatic Gain Control, and more, compatible with Section 4 GFE. MICROPHONE, 4' LINEAR ARRAY, WHITE - 4FT - One (1ea). Features onboard DSP, autofocus, and supports PoE, compatible with Section 4 GFE. MICROPHONE, DUAL COMBO - Two (2ea). Wireless system supporting simultaneous use of headset and handheld mics, compatible with Section 4 GFE. DUAL WIRELESS RECEIVER - One (1ea). Bridges analog signals onto Dante network, supports four XLR inputs, compatible with Section 4 GFE. BODYPACK TRANSMITTER - Two (2ea). Wireless transmitters operating in H10 band, compatible with Section 4 GFE. TRAY RACK FOR RECEIVERS - Three (3ea). Rack hardware for installing wireless receivers, compatible with Section 4 GFE. CABLE CONNECTOR 2' 4PIN MINI TO 1/4" - Two (2ea). Instrument cable for connecting instruments to wireless transmitters, compatible with Section 4 GFE. ETHERNET SWITCH, 8-PORT GIGABIT POE+ - One (1ea). Provides Ethernet connectivity and PoE+ for AV devices, compatible with Section 4 GFE. CUSTOM LABELS (MIC MUTE/UNMUTE) FOR EXTRON CONTROLLER - One (1ea). Control labels for existing AV system.
Salient Characteristics: Details specifications for each equipment type, including support for industry standards, compatibility, features like echo cancellation, automatic gain control, beamforming, and more, ensuring full integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
Government Furnished Equipment: Existing display, Extron MediaPort 200, Extron Distribution Amplifier, and other listed equipment will remain in service and be reused. Existing wall-mounted streaming camera, audio amplifier, overhead speaker system, equipment rack, wall controller, and in-house cable TV system will be updated or integrated as needed.
