The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, under the Department of the Navy (NAVSEA), is seeking quotes for the urgent rental and maintenance of a Low Pressure Air Compressor (LPAC) system and associated equipment for Naval Base Point Loma, San Diego, CA. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Contracting Office (Code 410.2) - Products and Services Requested: - Rental of one 100 HP LPAC (400 CFM) package - Rental of one 500-gallon receiving tank - Rental of one 400 CFM desiccant air dryer - Rental of 250 feet of 3-inch air hose - Rental of one manifold - Rental of 250 feet of power cable - Weekly equipment service and inspection (10 weeks) - Start-up and technician training service - Freight and shipping to Naval Base Point Loma - Quantities: - Each main equipment item is rented for 10 weeks - Weekly service/inspection for 10 weeks - One-time start-up/training and freight - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Equipment must meet detailed technical and safety specifications, including UL listing and outdoor weatherproofing - Vendors must provide technical information and relevant past performance - Rental period is 10 weeks with an option to extend by 2 weeks - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are specified in the solicitation - Vendors are required to review all attached documents for full technical and compliance requirements

Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY) is seeking quotes for the rental of (1) LPAC system and components in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).

Place of Performance: Naval Base Point Loma- San Diego, CA

Period of Performance: 08/03/2026 - 10/11/2026 plus option 10/12/2026 - 10/25/2026.

Interested offerors shall review all attachments to this solicitation and return completed attachments as required. Please ensure to include any technical information and revelant past performance/experience to support proposal. This is a solicitation for quotes via a Request for Quote (RFQ), a vendor submission does not constitute a binding contract as a formal purchase order will be sent to the selected awardee.
