NIST's Microsystems and Nanotechnology Division is seeking to procure a high-performance RF synthesizer system for its Gaithersburg, MD campus. - Government Buyer: - National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Microsystems and Nanotechnology Division, Physical Measurement Laboratory - Products/Services Requested: - One (1) RF synthesizer system - Must generate sinusoidal RF signals from 10 MHz to 20 GHz - Two independently tunable, phase-coherent output channels - Low phase noise performance - Reference output channels at 10 MHz and 100 MHz - Accepts reference inputs - Frequency resolution of 0.001 Hz or smaller - User-determined output power - Warm-up time under 30 minutes - Minimum 12-month warranty - Shipping and handling - Travel and other delivery expenses (not to exceed specified amount) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - No prototypes or refurbished equipment accepted; only new equipment - Delivery required within 140 days of contract award - Installation by purchaser; no in-person training required - 100% small business set-aside - Payment upon receipt and acceptance; inspection within two weeks of delivery - OEMs/Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - All technical and performance requirements are detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW)
