Description

The Southeast Data, Assessment, and Review (SEDAR) 103 assessment process for Caribbean fisheries involves a Development Workshop, followed by a series of webinars and a Review Workshop. The Development Workshop will focus on developing and evaluating alternate assessment methods suitable for generating management advice for US Caribbean federally managed species. The workshop is scheduled to be held in person at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami Airport from August 17 to August 21, 2026. Participants include a range of stakeholders such as scientists, biologists, fishermen, environmentalists, and agency staff.
