Description

The Ministry of Forests is inviting bids for seedling transportation services across British Columbia and/or Alberta starting September 1, 2026. The contract involves transporting approximately 250,000 cartons of tree seedlings annually in refrigerated trailers between nurseries and storage facilities. The transportation requires tandem axle tractors and refrigerated trailers at least 48 feet long, refrigerated vans up to 28 feet, and other equipment as determined by the contractor. Pricing will be evaluated on a per kilometer basis for routes over 400 km and per hour for routes under 400 km. The contract is a single-year term with no guaranteed service amount.
