Description

The City of Houston is seeking qualified consulting firms to provide Pavement Management Program (PMP) services for citywide roadway infrastructure. Services include pavement condition assessments such as Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and International Roughness Index (IRI) evaluations, GIS-based roadway inventory updates, asset tagging and condition ratings for sidewalks, curb ramps, alleyways, speed cushions, and composite pavement joint-reflection cracking, and preparation of periodic State of the Pavement Reports. Additional related asset evaluations may be requested. The consultant will perform data collection and analysis to evaluate pavement conditions and develop prioritized maintenance, rehabilitation, and reconstruction recommendations supported by budget scenarios, coordinating with Houston Public Works for long-term planning, budgeting, and reporting.
