The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Finance Division is seeking 50 commercial portable X-Ray systems for its Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG). - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Finance Division, Procurement Section - Products Requested: - 50 commercial portable X-Ray systems - Each system must include: controller-to-detector cable, diagonal tripod mount, controller, desktop charger for detector batteries, communication cable to rugged RJ45 for MPU5 module, detector (with battery), additional battery pack, professional software license, backpack, bipod detector stand, dual drive Luxe USB Type-C, USB C female to controller cable - Systems must meet detailed technical specifications: - Detector panel size and scintillator thickness - Cable lengths and ruggedization - Integration with Persistent Systems MPU5 MANET radio and Sandia National Laboratories X-ray Tool Kit - Services Requested: - Operator training and technical support for all delivered systems - Military and FBI base access for vendor personnel - Two-year warranty and free software updates for two years - Procurement Details: - One-time, firm-fixed price delivery order - Set aside for small business authorized resellers under NAICS 334517 - Vendors must provide new products only, include OEM part numbers and data sheets - Delivery required within 60 days after order receipt - Shipping costs within CONUS must be included - Unique Requirements: - Integration with specific radio and software tools - Detailed technical and ruggedization specifications - Mandatory operator training, technical support, warranty, and software updates - No specific OEMs or part numbers are named in the solicitation; vendors must supply OEM part numbers and data sheets with their quotes.

Description

The Government’s intent is to establish a one-time, firm-fixed price delivery order for commercial portable X-Ray systems as notated in Section 1.0 for the FBI’s Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG). This RFQ is being conducted as a total set-aside for small business concerns under NAICS 334517 Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing, size standard of 1000 employees. Only quotes submitted by small business concerns that are authorized resellers will be accepted by the government. Any quote submitted by a business that is not a small business concern or is not an authorized reseller of these products will not be considered for award.

If interested in competing for this effort, vendors may participate by submitting a quote in accordance with the procedures set forth in this RFQ. The Government reserves the right to terminate the RFQ at any time during the validity period.

Quotations/offers and any accompanying information shall be to the attention of Emily York, Contract Specialist, at eyork@fbi.gov, no later than Monday, August 24th , 2026 at 11:00am CT.  Quotations/offers sent via other means (i.e. via telephone call, facsimile transmission, etc.) will not be considered.  Offers must be valid for 90 calendar days after submission.
