The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center is seeking specialized consulting services to support its ANCC Magnet Redesignation process. - Government Buyer: - National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical Center Nursing Department (CCND), Office of Purchasing and Contracts - OEMs and Vendors: - Lori Carson Consulting LLC (sole source consultant) - Products/Services Requested: - Magnet Recognition Program Consultant Services - Expert assessment, analysis, and coordination for the ANCC Magnet Redesignation process - Readiness assessments, document preparation and review, application submission guidance, and appraiser site visit support - Services provided both remotely and onsite - No specific part numbers or product SKUs; this is a professional services engagement - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Consultant must be a registered nurse with Magnet Program Director experience - Direct support for re-accreditation, minimizing deficiencies in documentation and quantitative data reports - Coordination with NIH stakeholders and monthly invoicing - Sole source procurement to Lori Carson Consulting LLC - Period of Performance: - Base period plus two option years, covering a total of three years

Description

This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.

This procurement is Magnet Recognition Program® Consultant to provide expert assessment, analysis and coordination for the ANCC Magnet® Redesignation process. Procuring the services of a consultant is essential to maximizing the efficiency and accuracy of the ongoing re-accreditation journey and will assist the CCND in minimizing deficiencies in submitted documents and quantitative data reports, thereby reducing overall costs and delays. This contract will be a base plus 2 option years (08/01/2026 – 07/31/2029).

This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 –Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstance of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Contracts awarded using FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6-Competition Requirements.
