The Department of Veterans Affairs, Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS), is seeking to procure and install a new roll-in blast chiller/freezer for its Nutrition and Food Service Department in New Orleans, LA. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System, Nutrition and Food Service Department - OEMs and Vendors: - American Panel (OEM of the specified HURRiCHiLL Modular Blast Chiller/Shock Freezer) - Products/Services Requested: - One (1) roll-in blast chiller/freezer, American Panel HURRiCHiLL Modular Blast Chiller/Shock Freezer, model AP36BCF-1T or equivalent - Chilling capacity: 360 lbs from 160F to 38F within 90 minutes - Freezing capacity: 216 lbs from 160F to 0F within 240 minutes - 7" LCD touch screen controller, stainless steel construction, ozone generator, USB interface, and warranty - Installation of new blast chiller/freezer and remote condensing unit - De-installation and removal of existing QC2100R blast chiller, including transport and off-site disposal - Connection of all required refrigeration and electrical components - Functional testing and onsite training for end users and Biomedical Engineering technicians - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Equipment must meet or exceed detailed technical specifications - Warranty coverage required - 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) - Delivery required within 45 days after receipt of order

Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Part 12; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to FAR Part 12, Acquisitions of Commercial Products and Commercial Products and Commercial Services as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

The solicitation number is 36C25626Q1086 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract action will initiate a new supply agreement/contract to provide, install, de-install, transport, in-service, and test all specified equipment in SOW. All products must meet salient characteristics and functions defined in this section. Requested supply standards and parameters are detailed in the statement of work attached.

This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS.
