SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking to purchase a Video System Center for medical use. - Government Buyer: - State University of New York (SUNY), SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital - OEMs and Vendors: - Olympus (specified as the OEM) - Vendors offering clinically equivalent products may participate if they meet all requirements - Products/Services Requested: - Video System Center (Olympus or equivalent) - Must meet clinical performance standards and key performance indicators (KPIs) - Includes equipment, software, transportation, set-up, removal, supplies, and accessories - Vendors must provide examination, demonstration, and trial support at no cost if requested - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Vendors must be authorized by the OEM to sell the offered products - Clinically equivalent products are accepted with supporting clinical documentation - Procurement is under a GPO contract, allowing for non-competitive purchase if justified by price - Compliance with New York State Finance Law §139 j&k (Lobbying Law) is required - Successful contractor must submit valid and current NYS Workman’s Compensation and Disability Forms

Description

Stony Brook University Hospital intends to purchase a Video System Center from a contract awarded by a consortium (GPO) under its authority to purchase commodities without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors offering equivalent Video System Centers to Olympus may contact the primary contact to demonstrate equivalency by meeting clinical performance and KPIs. Vendors must provide free supporting clinical documentation and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial, and must be authorized by the OEM to sell the offered products. The procurement is subject to New York State Finance Law §139 j&k (Lobbying Law), restricting contact to the designated individual.
