The New York Power Authority (NYPA) is seeking proposals for comprehensive waste transportation and disposal services across New York State, including New York City. - Government Buyer: - Power Authority of New York (NYPA) - Scope of Work: - Contractor must provide or arrange all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, laboratory facilities, transportation vehicles, fuels, tolls, highway use taxes, insurance (including environmental liability insurance), spill prevention control and countermeasure equipment, and all required permits, licenses, and approvals - Services cover waste management from generation point to final disposal - OEMs and Vendors: - Notable vendors previously awarded similar contracts: Clean Harbors Environmental, TREADEBE Environmental Services, NRC East Environmental, ACV Environmental Services, Veolia ES Technical Services - Products/Services Requested: - Waste transportation and disposal services (comprehensive, including regulatory compliance) - Waste management operations (laboratory analysis, spill prevention, permitting) - Unique Requirements: - Statewide coverage, including New York City - Contractor must ensure full regulatory compliance and environmental liability insurance - No set-aside goals for SDVOB, MWBE, or DBE participation - Contract Term: - Five-year contract duration

Description

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) invites proposals to furnish supervision, labor, materials, and equipment (excluding services, materials, and/or equipment to be furnished by others as specified in the contract documents) and perform all operations required for waste transportation and disposal. The contractor will provide or arrange for all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, laboratory facilities, transportation vehicles, fuels, tolls, highway use taxes, insurance (including environmental liability insurance), spill prevention control and countermeasure equipment and materials, and all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals to manage waste from their points of generation within New York State (including New York City) to the points of ultimate disposition of all waste components. The contract term is 5 years and the location is statewide in New York.
