Description

The University McGill is seeking an integrated, field-installed lysimeter facility comprising six independently weighed, monolithic soil lysimeters and associated infrastructure. The system will be installed at the Emile A. Lods Agronomy Research Centre on McGill University’s Macdonald Campus to support year-round research on soil-water and solute fluxes, evapotranspiration, drainage, nutrient and contaminant transport, crop response, and freeze-thaw processes. The project includes coordination with engineering consultants and construction contractors for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, network, drainage, and utility infrastructure. The successful bidder must provide equipment-interface information, supervise specialized activities, install instrumentation and control systems, and commission the research system.
