This opportunity is for heavy lift crane rental and associated services to support a complex marine salvage operation at Naval Station Rota, Spain, for the U.S. Navy. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, Naval Station Rota, Purchasing Agent (Ivan Moyano) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments - Products/Services Requested: - Rental of two (2) certified mobile cranes (400-500 metric ton capacity) - Provision of certified, experienced crane operators (2 required) - Supply of certified rigging gear (slings, spreader bars, shackles) rated for dynamic load (barge dry weight 142,500 lbs plus retained water) - Mobilization, setup, operation, and demobilization of cranes for a tandem lift extraction of a partially sunken Navy Side Loadable Warping Tug (SLWT) barge - Detailed lift and rigging plans (due five business days prior to mobilization) - Daily activity logs (due by 8:00 AM following the operation day) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Tandem lift operation requiring two cranes working simultaneously - All equipment and operators must be certified and insured - Rigging plan and load charts required - Operation to be completed in a single day during the specified period - Government will provide Navy divers for underwater tasks if needed

The goverment is seeking a company to provide heavy lift crane rental services, certified crane operators, and specialized rigging equipment to execute the tandem lift extraction of a partially sunken Navy Standard intermediate causeway Side Loadable Warping Tug (SLWT) barge located at Naval Station (NAVSTA) Rota, Spain.
