The U.S. Air Force's 786 Force Support Squadron is procuring and installing new electronic lock entry doors for three fitness centers at Ramstein Air Base and Vogelweh/Kapaun, Germany. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 786 Force Support Squadron (FSS) - OEMs and Vendors: - Aluprof (specified as MB-79N aluminum doors or equivalent) - Products Requested: - Aluprof MB-79N aluminum single main entrance doors (2 units) - Approx. 875mm x 2065mm, RAL 8016 Mahogany brown matt, thermal insulation, panic/emergency exit hardware (EN1125 compliant), outward opening, DC electric lock compatible with Rectrac and Smartnet systems - Aluprof MB-79N aluminum double main entrance doors (2 units) - Approx. 2190mm x 2245mm, same features as above - Services Requested: - Removal and disposal of existing doors - Installation of new doors and DC electric locks - Integration with existing Rectrac access control system and future Smartnet software - Finishing work including aluminum trim installation - Proper disposal of old materials and debris - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Doors must be compatible with both Rectrac and Smartnet access control systems - Panic/emergency exit hardware must be EN1125 compliant - Specific color and finish (RAL 8016 Mahogany brown matt) - Integration with existing swipe card readers - Installation at three distinct fitness center locations - Completion required within 6-8 weeks from order/payment

Description

(i)The 786 Force Support Squadron is seeking to procure new electronic lock entry doors at three fitness centers on Ramstein Air Base and Kapaun: Southside Fitness Center, Northside Fitness Center, and Vogelweh Fitness Center (Kapaun). The new doors will be integrated with the existing 24/7 access control system (Rectrac) and will be compatible with SmartNet Access Control System software that will be installed per AFSVC later this year. This purchase will be solicited under PSC 5670 and NAICS 332231. Quotes must include shipping to Ramstein Air base as well as installation at the site.

(ii) In accordance with RFO12.201-1(c), this pre-solicitation is being published on the Government Point of Entry to document the requirement. The contract will be awarded based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) selection process.Under this method, the contract is awarded to the bidder who proposes the lowest price, as long as their technical proposal (including technical data of the doors and equipment) satisfies the minimum standards stipulated in the Statement of Work document. Funds have not been received yet, so the anticipated contract award date is TBD.

(vi) All responsible sources may submit a quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency. However, it is anticipated that a site visit will be held, so vendors interested by this presolicitation shall inform the government POCs.

(viii) An offeror’s proposed product must meet the specification requirement in order to be eligible for award (see Statement of Work document).
