THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)/SOURCES SOUGHT/RFI IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.
THE SUBMISSION OF PRICING, CAPABILITIES FOR PLANNING PURPOSES, AND OTHER MARKET INFORMATION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED AND ALLOWED UNDER THIS RFI IN ACCORDANCE WITH (IAW) FAR 15.201(e).
The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, veteran owned small business (VOSB), service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB), or large business relative to NAICS 334510 with size standards of 1250 employees. Note that if VA s pending market research establishes that two or more VOSB or SDVOSB, who are certified in U.S Small Business Administration site https://www.sba.gov can perform the project, VA will set aside the underlying solicitation per 38 U.S.C. §8127.Â
Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. General Requirements:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VA Prescott Healthcare System, has a need for the HAMILTON-MR1 PACKAGE. The Hamilton-MR1 will be used to provide mechanical ventilation to patients who require respiratory support while undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic procedures in a Magnetic Resonance Imaging environment.

Portable ICU ventilator weighing ~6.8 kg ( 21 kg with trolley); compact size supports ICU MRI transport with quick-release trolley and auto-lock brakes.
Broad patient range: neonatal (tidal down to 2 mL), pediatric, adult.
Ventilation modes: full suite volume & pressure-controlled, ASV®, NIV, nCPAP, HFOT, duet modes like PSIMV+, APRV, DuoPAP.
Turbine-driven, no external compressed air needed; delivers up to 260 L/min flow.
Battery life 8 9 hr (72 Wh, 2× lithium-ion); recharge time ~3 6 hrs.
Ventilation Cockpit UI with 8.4 touchscreen showing waveforms, loops, trends, lung mechanics.
Safety & monitoring: alarms for pressures, volumes, disconnections, apnea; leak compensation; dynamic lung panels show compliance, resistance, stress/strain
