This opportunity is for the renovation and conversion of rooms in Building 730 at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi, requested by the Department of the Air Force (14th Contracting Squadron and 14 CES CECC). - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force - 14th Contracting Squadron and 14 CES CECC, Columbus AFB - Scope of Work: - Remodel and convert rooms 131, 135, 135A, and 140 into SAPR Storage, Reception/Waiting area, and six SAPR Offices - Includes interior construction, soundproofing, installation of doors and flooring, painting, electrical, communications, fire protection, and HVAC system modifications - Installation of duress alarm system and compliance with UFC, NFPA, and Air Force standards - Services Requested: - Licensed design professionals for contract documents and multiple design submittals - Construction services for interior remodeling and building system updates - Quality control management throughout the project - Independent testing and inspection services for materials and systems - Unique Requirements: - Mandatory completion of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) training and submission of signed acknowledgment - Access to detailed drawings and CUI documentation restricted until training is completed - Compliance with sound transmission class and fire safety codes - Estimated Contract Value: - Between $250,000 and $500,000 - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; all materials and equipment must be provided by the contractor - Period of Performance: - 300 days from Notice to Proceed, including design, construction, and inspection - Work must begin within 10 days of award

Description

NOTE: Contractors/Offerors must complete CUI Training Slides; sign and return the "MFR Contractor CUI Training Acknowledgment for Solicitations" attachment to gain access to drawings and other associated CUI documentation. Once the POC has received your signed MFR, please request access to the locked documents through SAM.gov. Your MFR will be reviewed and access to the lock SAM.gov documents will be granted accordingly. Proposals will be submitted electronically.

Description: The Contractor must provide all plant, labor, equipment, transportation, and tools required to remodel and change the room layout of rooms 131, 135, 135A, and 140 in Building 730 at Columbus AFB Mississippi.

Site Visit, RSVP, and Base Entry: The Government invites you to a site visit on 05 Aug 2026 at 9:00 AM CDT. Attendance is highly encouraged but not mandatory. Please note that registration is required by 7:30 AM CDT on 30 Jul 2026. To register, please email the POC requesting a DoD Safe drop-off link to securely upload your completed Entry Authorization Listing (EAL) document (found in the list of SAM.gov attachments). If you do not contact the POC by 7:30 AM CDT on 30 Jul 2026, you will not be able to attend the site visit.

Identification: All attendees must bring a valid photo ID. All photo IDs must meet the requirements for "REAL ID." 

Vehicle Requirements: If driving on base, please ensure the driver has driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance.

IMPORTANT: All contractors should arrive at Columbus AFB’s Visitors Center early and wait for a 14th Contracting Squadron representative to arrive and lead them to the site visit location. The representative will leave the visitors’ center at 9:00 AM CST

The range of magnitude for this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000.

52.232-18 Availability of Funds. Availability of Funds (Apr 1984)

Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
