Truman (CVN 75) during its RCOH period. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Regional Directorate Contracting Department, Ships Store Program - OEM and Vendor: - Metal Dynamics LTD (sole source, OEM and installer for System 90 shelving and coolers) - Products and Quantities: - 12 new coolers for installation - 12 custom 2"x2" angle kits (LH/RH 60'L x 45° miter, top 25'W x 45° miter, bottom LH/RH side 24'L, #10 x 15" O.C. thru holes, Sea Pearl finish) - 1 gallon Sea Pearl touch-up paint - 12 aerosol cans of Sea Pearl touch-up paint - Packaging, materials, on-site consumables, and freight - Services Requested: - Installation of 12 coolers and custom angle kits - 135 man hours of labor (3 men x 10 hours/day x 4.5 days) - Maintenance and repair services by qualified Metal Dynamics representatives at no additional charge - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Metal Dynamics is the only NAVSEA-approved manufacturer and installer for System 90 shelving and fixtures - Installation must comply with NAVSEA specifications and safety requirements - Coolers and installation must be compatible with recently renovated System 90 shelving - All work to be performed on the APL61 barge at Norfolk Naval Base - Firm fixed price contract - Delivery and installation scheduled to support the USS Harry S.
