Tinker Air Force Base is seeking comprehensive construction and renovation services for a shooting range facility (B1024), with a focus on structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems. - Government Buyer: - Tinker Air Force Base, U.S. Air Force, 72nd Air Base Wing, Engineering Support - Key Products and Materials: - Fire-resistant 3/4" plywood and 2x4 sleepers for wood baffle replacement (per UFC 4-179-02 Small Arms Ranges) - Fire-resistant wood column wraps (2x8 and 2x10) - Water repellent finish for all exposed wood - 3/8" thick AR500 steel plates (ASTM E10-08/MIL-A-A46100) for column reinforcement - Extensive list of construction materials: concrete, masonry, structural steel, steel joists, steel decks, cold-formed metal framing, rough and finish carpentry, insulation, waterproofing, roofing, doors, windows, wall panels, flooring, signage, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and more - Services Requested: - Demolition and deconstruction (including safe removal, utility disconnection, salvage, and debris management) - Installation of new structural, architectural, and mechanical systems per detailed technical specifications - Specialized services: firestopping, joint sealants, fire alarm and detection systems, HVAC commissioning, earthwork, paving, fencing, irrigation, seeding, sodding, and more - Compliance with extensive industry standards (ASTM, ACI, AISC, AWS, NFPA, UL, etc.) and government facility standards (UFC, TAFB Fire Protection Standard) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All wood baffles and bracing must be replaced with fire-resistant materials and sealed for weather protection - Damaged steel columns require AR500 steel plate reinforcement - Strict adherence to fire protection, safety, and environmental standards - Contractor qualifications: NICET certifications for fire protection systems, licensed landscape architect for irrigation, and certified corrosion experts for cathodic protection - Mandatory submittals, shop drawings, quality control, and warranty provisions (some up to 20 years) - No government-furnished property; work to be performed during normal duty hours - OEMs: - AR500 (for steel plate material) - Monaco Enterprises (required for fire alarm control units) - ProtecTar, Star Seal (as specified for pavement sealers) - Quantities and Part Numbers: - 3/8" AR500 steel plate (ASTM E10-08/MIL-A-A46100), quantity as needed for column repair - Fire-resistant plywood, sleepers, and wraps: quantities per site requirements - Numerous other materials and components as detailed in technical specifications - Scope: - The project encompasses full-scale facility renovation, including demolition, new construction, system upgrades, and site improvements, with detailed requirements for every building system and trade discipline.

After review of the project specific documents, if you are a Tinker AFB – MAC BOA Holder, please send an email to the Contracting Points of Contact as an RSVP stating you are interested in attending the Initial Site Visit.  Your RSVP email must be received by Wednesday, 29 July 2026 2:00 PM CT.  In your RSVP, please let us know if all personnel that will be attending the Initial Site Visit have base access.  If anyone requires base access, you must forward with your RSVP the Entry Access List (EAL) so that we can know how many personnel require base access. 

You must attend the Initial Site Visit for the project to be considered eligible to propose.
