The supplier will provide site-specific technical support to up to eight apple packinghouses in the Okanagan and Similkameen regions, focusing on harvest maturity assessment, fruit receiving, pre-storage conditioning, storage management, and prevention of physiological storage disorders. The supplier will assess current handling and storage practices, identify opportunities to reduce quality deterioration and storage losses, and provide technical review for an Apple Post-Harvest Best Practices Guide.
