Description
The City of Minneapolis is soliciting proposals from qualified security services contractors to provide public safety security services as part of a pilot program within the Uptown Special Service District (SSD). The services include patrolling and monitoring sidewalks within the public right-of-way, business engagement, wellness checks, safety escorts, coordination with law enforcement and outreach providers, and other activities to enhance public safety and community livability. The pilot program aims to evaluate service effectiveness and operational approaches to inform future service models. The maximum contract value for this pilot program shall not exceed $175,000.
