Description

This final rule establishes, amends, suspends, or removes Standard Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAPS) and associated Takeoff Minimums and Obstacle Departure Procedures (ODPs) for operations at certain airports. These regulatory actions are necessary due to the adoption of new or revised criteria or changes in the National Airspace System, such as new navigational facilities, added obstacles, or changed air traffic requirements. The changes aim to provide safe and efficient use of navigable airspace and promote safe flight operations under instrument flight rules at affected airports. The rule is effective July 23, 2026, and includes detailed amendments to 14 CFR part 97.
