Description

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone on Lake Erie near Avon Lake, OH to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from hazards associated with an over water fireworks display. The safety zone prohibits entry of vessels or persons unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Eastern Great Lakes, or their designated representative. The safety zone will be enforced on August 1, 2026, from 9 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. The zone covers all navigable waters within a 280-foot radius of the specified coordinates.
