Description
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of the Administrator proposes to rescind a system of records notice (SORN) EPA-36 for Research Grant, Cooperative Agreement, and Fellowship Application Files. This system is being rescinded because EPA no longer uses the database and does not need the data for EPA duties. The files are duplicates related to grant applications made before award and are not official copies of record. EPA now uses grants.gov and the Next Generation Grants System (NGGS), EPA-53, for processing and storing official grant application records. EPA will stop maintaining this system on June 30, 2026.
