This solicitation concerns Initiative Hearings for Ballot Measure No. 2 (24ESEG) which proposes to repeal a nonpartisan and open top four primary election system and ranked-choice general election system, reestablish a partisan political primary, change appointment procedures, reestablish runoff elections, and amend independent expenditure group requirements. Hearings are scheduled for July 27, 2026, and August 5, 2026, with participation available via call-in and live streaming. The Office of the Governor is the procuring agency for this initiative.
