The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Senior Procurement Executive, on behalf of the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), is seeking a contractor for electrical wiring and conduit replacement at the MSHA Approval and Certification Center (A&C) Building 4 in Triadelphia, West Virginia. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE) - Sub-agency: Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) - Office: MSHA Approval and Certification Center (A&C) - Products and Materials Requested: - Electrical wiring and conduit replacement for a 100 HP motor - 150 feet of 500 mcm nylon copper wire (600V, 320A, PVC jacket, nylon, indoor/outdoor, water/oil/gas/heat resistant) - 50 feet of #12 AWG copper wire (600V, PVC jacket) - 50 feet of rigid 4-inch conduit (steel or aluminum, galvanized) - 50 feet of rigid 1-inch conduit (steel, galvanized) - Miscellaneous 4-inch and 1-inch conduit fittings - 1 strut rack for horizontal conduit support - 2 weatherproof wire troughs (8" x 8" x 24" steel) - 2 wall-mount strut racks (outdoor) - 1 junction box (8" x 8" x 8") for 500 mcm and #12 wires to motor - Services Requested: - Removal of existing wiring and conduit - Installation, testing, and startup of new wiring and conduit for the 100 HP motor - All labor, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision required - Notable Requirements: - Total Small Business Set-Aside - Firm-fixed price contract - Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection - Site visits allowed but at contractor's expense - All technical requirements detailed in attached specifications - No specific OEMs or branded products are specified; materials must meet technical specifications provided.

Description

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of the Senior Procurement Executive (OSPE), on behalf of the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), has a need for Electrical Wiring and Conduit Replacement at the MSHA Approval and Certification Center (A&CC) Building 4 in Triadelphia, West Virginia, in accordance with this Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP will result in a single award. The Period of Performance shall be Upon Receipt of Award to 45 Days After Award. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures will be utilized. Please read the RFP in its entirety, including instructions for submitting a proposal and the evaluation criteria the Government will use to make an award. *SITE VISITS ARE ALLOWED. Please note that the Government will NOT cover any costs for site visits.
