This opportunity is for janitorial cleaning services at the U.S. Embassy Kinshasa, covering the JAO and Chancery compounds in the Democratic Republic of Congo. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Kinshasa, GSO/Procurement Office - Scope of Services: - Janitorial cleaning services for offices, restrooms, outdoor areas, and housing areas - Daily cleaning Monday through Friday, including trash removal, carpet maintenance, and window cleaning - Temporary additional cleaning services as needed (16–200 hours per year) - Contractor must provide 12 personnel (10 janitorial staff, 2 supervisors) - Contractor responsible for all labor, management, and supervision - Government will furnish cleaning supplies and equipment - Requirements: - Compliance with Democratic Republic of Congo labor laws - Security clearances for contractor personnel - Quality control measures required - Contractor must maintain a pool of trained alternate employees to ensure full staffing - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation - No products or equipment are being procured; focus is on labor and management services

Description

The purpose of this fixed price contract is to obtain janitorial cleaning services for the JAO and Chancery compounds, properties of the U.S. Government at Kinshasa in DRC. The Contractor shall perform janitorial services in all designated spaces including, but not limited to halls, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, and stairways. The contract will be for a one-year period from the date of the contract award, and 6-Month provision.

The Contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel that are necessary to accomplish the work in this contract. The Contractor shall maintain a sufficient pool of trained alternate employees to ensure full staffing at all times, including during periods of employee illness, leave, or absence. Contractor employees shall be on site only for contractual duties and not for other business purposes. See attached Request for Quotation for full Scope of Work.
