The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking small business contractors to provide canal clearing and re-establishment services at the Sabine National Wildlife Refuge in Hackberry, Louisiana. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), Sabine National Wildlife Refuge - FWS SAT Team 3 office (contact: Fred Riley) - Scope of Work: - Reestablish and maintain up to 20.71 miles of canals, restoring widths of 40-50 feet and depths of 5 feet - Canal clearing covers three priority sections: - Central and Willow Bayou Canal (13 miles) - Southline West Canal (5 miles) - Southline East Canal (2.71 miles) - Contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment, including a marsh buggy with amphibious capabilities (hydraulic, pontooned, 50-foot reach, spill kits, and secondary containment for fueling) - Products/Equipment: - Marsh buggy (hydraulic amphibious undercarriage) - Services Requested: - Canal clearing and debris removal - Compliance with strict environmental and safety standards - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must supply all equipment and materials; no government-furnished property - Work must be performed Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, excluding federal holidays and weekends - Site inspection required prior to quote submission - Set aside for small businesses, including HUBZone, SDVOSB, and EDWOSB - Registration in SAM and IPP required - No specific OEMs or named vendors are mentioned; opportunity is open to qualified small business contractors.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is issuing a Request for Quotes for the Canals Clearing at the Sabine NWR, Hackberry, LA. The anticipated performance period is shown below.Period of Performance:September 15, 2026 ¿ September 15, 2027Solicitation 140FS326R0011 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) is 100% Small Business Set Aside and is conducted under FAR Parts 12 and 13, incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC Number: 2026-01, Effective Date: 03/13/2026. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 115310, Support Activities for Forestry.
