This Invitation to Bid (ITB) seeks formal competitive sealed bids to establish a contract for the purchase of stone and gravel products for the Rockingham County Landfill on an as-needed basis. The materials include various types of stone such as Dust, Crush & Run, 21A & 21B, 57s, 26, A1, Surge, 3 (2X1), and Rip Rap (Class 1). All deliveries are to be hauled to the County Landfill at 813 Greendale Road, Harrisonburg, Virginia, where onsite staff will direct drivers to appropriate dumping areas. The contract period is from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027, with options to renew for two additional one-year terms.
