Description

This solicitation is for the construction of a one and one half (1.5) mile roller compacted concrete (RCC) pavement greenway inside Roan Mountain State Park. The work includes furnishing all material, equipment, supplies, and labor necessary to construct approximately 7,920 linear feet by 5 feet wide RCC pavement as an exposed pavement surface on a subgrade layer. The project requires clearing, grubbing, excavation, subgrade preparation, installation of compacted stone subbase, RCC pavement placement, and finishing work including seeding and straw. The contract also includes compliance with applicable codes, permits, and warranty requirements.
