NIST's Office of Facilities and Property Management is seeking to procure a high-flow tracked skid steer loader with a 72-inch forestry mulching head attachment and debris mitigation kit for its Gaithersburg campus. - Government Buyer: - National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Office of Facilities and Property Management (OFPM), Grounds Services and Support - Products/Services Requested: - 1 High-Flow Tracked Skid Steer Loader (Tier 4 diesel, minimum 105 HP, integrated telematics, premium cab, performance package) - 72-inch heavy-duty forestry mulching head attachment - Debris mitigation kit - Operator and parts manuals - Optional extended warranty (60 months or 6,000 hours) - Initial operational demonstration and operator training for up to 6 operators - First factory-scheduled preventative maintenance service (on-site, by authorized factory rep) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Equipment must include a Tier 4 diesel engine, telematics, and premium cab features - Comprehensive warranty: 2 years/2,000 hours on loader, 1 year unlimited hours on mulching head, optional 5-year/6,000-hour extended warranty - Delivery and operator training required within 10 business days of acceptance - Initial maintenance service and fluid analysis included - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; multiple manufacturers may qualify - Delivery and all services to be performed at NIST Gaithersburg campus
