Ulster County Law Enforcement Center UPS System Upgrade and Replacement (Xtreme Power Specified)

• Ulster County Department of General Services is seeking bids for a comprehensive upgrade and replacement of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems at the Ulster County Law Enforcement Center in Kingston, NY.
• The procurement covers:
  • 9 units of 3.8kVA UPS systems (Xtreme Power TX91-3.8K) with external battery packs and maintenance bypass switches
  • 1 unit of 10kVA UPS system (Xtreme Power TX91-10K) with external battery pack and maintenance bypass switch
  • 2 units of 600VA UPS (Xtreme Power J60-600)
  • 11 units of 2000VA UPS (Xtreme Power P91-2000)
  • 21 internal SNMP/Web monitoring cards (Xtreme Power SNMP-2PV3)
  • 11 two-post rail kits (Xtreme Power XPC-2PRAIL)
• The project includes all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals for installation, startup, testing, and commissioning of the new UPS systems.
• Removal and disposal of existing UPS equipment is required.
• A five-year service plan is included, covering preventive maintenance, emergency response, and repair services.
• All UPS equipment and accessories must meet specific technical and compliance standards (UL, cUL, FCC, RoHS, TAA, etc.).
• A mandatory pre-bid site visit is required for all bidders.
• The contract must be completed within one year of execution, with the service plan extending for five years post-installation.
• Xtreme Power is the specified OEM for all major UPS equipment and accessories.

Description

The County of Ulster is seeking bids from qualified contractors to furnish, install, start up, test, and place into service upgraded uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and related equipment at the Ulster County Law Enforcement Center in Kingston, New York. The scope of work includes UPS equipment, battery packs/cabinets, maintenance bypass panels, breakers, conduit, wiring, rigging, removal and disposal of existing UPS equipment, startup, testing, and a five-year service plan. The contract requires a complete and operational UPS upgrade including all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, transportation, coordination, incidentals, and services necessary to complete the work. The successful bidder must complete the work within one year from contract execution unless extended by the County in writing.
