This opportunity is for the supply of dishwashing chemicals and related services to New York State correctional facilities: - Government Buyer: - New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS), Division of Industries (Corcraft) - Office: Washington Correctional Facility, Division of Industries, Soap Shop - Products and Equipment Requested: - Institutional food service grade dishwashing detergent (12,270 gallons annually) - Dishwashing rinse aid, specially formulated for plastic ware (3,975 gallons annually) - Delimer/descaling product (3,975 gallons annually) - Hand wash pot and pan detergent (12,985 gallons annually) - Food service grade degreaser (2,915 gallons annually) - Automatic two-product dispensing systems (138 units) - Two port dispensing units (4 gal/min) for pot/pan detergent and sanitizer (150 units) - Dispensing units for degreaser dilution control (70 units) - Services Required: - Technical support and laboratory services, including instructions, product testing, and reformulation support - Periodic maintenance and monitoring of dispensing equipment, including emergency servicing and supply of consumable replacement parts - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All finished chemical products must be manufactured at the Washington Correctional Facility using existing equipment - Products must be concentrated, liquid, and designed for automatic dilution - Bidders must provide technical and laboratory support at no additional charge - Compliance with MWBE and EEO requirements is mandatory - No specific OEMs are named in the solicitation; previous contracts referenced Sanico, Inc. as a vendor

Description

This solicitation is issued by the New York State Department of Corrections & Community Supervision, Division of Industry (Corcraft), for a turnkey operation to supply cleaning chemicals and related services to approximately 68 correctional facilities throughout New York State. The contract includes the supply of cleaning chemicals, technical support and laboratory services, regular service of dispensing equipment, emergency servicing of automatic dishwashing equipment, and other related services for commercial and institutional food service operations. The finished products, including institutional dishwashing detergent, rinse aid, descaling product, hand wash pot and pan cleaner, and food service grade cleaner degreaser, will be manufactured at the Washington Correctional Facility Soap Shop using existing equipment. The contract term is from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2029, with renewal options.
