Description

Lac La Biche County is seeking proposals for the supply, configuration, programming, deployment, installation, documentation, training support, and ongoing radio-related services to transition County users to the Alberta First Responders Radio Communications System (AFRRCS). The County currently uses VHF radio infrastructure and aims to modernize radio communications to improve reliability, interoperability, and operational coordination across departments. The goal is to establish a standardized, supportable fleet of AFRRCS-capable portable and mobile radios with suitable accessories, programming, inventory handoff, and deployment support. Approved equivalents meeting mandatory requirements and permitted for use on AFRRCS will be considered.
