The 309th Electronics Maintenance Group (EMXG) at Hill Air Force Base, under the Department of Defense, is seeking a turnkey solution for an ultrasonic vapor degreaser system. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, 309 EMXG/526 EMXS, Hill Air Force Base, Building 843 - OEMs and Vendors: - Kyzen (manufacturer of SLV901 solvent) - Products/Services Requested: - One Commercial-Off-The-Shelf Ultrasonic Vapor Degreaser compatible with Kyzen SLV901 solvent - Includes tank thermal insulation, solvent spray lance, operator interface, vapor containment refrigeration, recirculation pump with filtration, solvent handling equipment, replacement filter media, OSHA-approved work platform, and 24-hour solvent containment during power loss - Integrated hoist/transfer system for automated parts handling (minimum basket size 22"W x 28"L x 6"H, 150 lbs capacity), with safety features and backup power - Integrated solvent recycling/distillation system (closed loop, air-cooled, multilevel monitoring, spill containment, interconnection with degreaser) - Electrical transformers to ensure warranty compliance - Initial supply of 220-240 gallons of Kyzen SLV901 solvent - Services Requested: - On-site installation, unloading, positioning, utility hookups, and refrigeration adjustments - OEM start-up and user training (up to three days) covering operation, programming, maintenance, troubleshooting, safety, and emergency procedures - Validation and verification of system functionality, including warranty registration - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must be compatible with Kyzen SLV901 solvent - Automated parts handling and solvent recycling are required - Backup power for safety and solvent containment during outages - All installation and training must be completed within 30 days of delivery - Warranty registration required upon acceptance

This is a Source Sought Notice Only- The Electronics Maintenance Group (EMXG), Hill AFB, UT, requires an Ultrasonic Vapor Degreaser. This requirement is not currently anticipated to be solicited on a small business set-aside basis. However, a set aside will be contemplated, provided 2 or more qualified small business respond to this sources sought synopsis with information sufficient to support a set-aside. Be advised that the U.S. Government will not be able to set aside this requirement if 2 or more small businesses do not respond with information to support the set-aside. We encourage all small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women- Owned Small Business concerns), to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price.

The 309th Electronics Maintenance Group, Hill AFB UT, is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of manufacturing/supplying, delivering, installing, validating, and providing operator training for a turnkey ultrasonic vapor degreasing system with integrated automated parts handling and integrated solvent recycling/distillation, including on-site services at Hill AFB, UT.

INSTRUCTION:

In response to this Sources Sought, please provide:

Company name, CAGE/UEI, POC, business size under NAICS 333248, and socioeconomic status(es) (SB, SDVOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, 8(a)). Whether you are the manufacturer, an authorized dealer/integrator, or a reseller of a comparable system, and details of the product(s) you would offer. Capability statement demonstrating experience delivering/installing comparable systems (past 3–5 years), including .gov/DoD sites if any. Ability to meet each salient characteristic; identify any you cannot meet or would meet by alternative means. Whether your system requires a specific proprietary solvent or supports a range of qualified solvents, and any EHS/permitting considerations. GSA/Federal contract vehicles you hold (MAS, SEWP, etc.). Typical lead times and any facility prerequisites (power, ventilation, floor loading). Recommended/appropriate NAICS from your perspective.
