Description

Sonoma State University has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The university has determined a cultural affiliation between these remains and Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The notice details the repatriation process and the cultural items involved. Repatriation may occur on or after August 21, 2026, and requests for repatriation must be sent to the authorized representative at Sonoma State University.
