Description

The Kansas State Historical Society (KSHS) has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). They have determined a cultural affiliation between the human remains and associated funerary objects and certain Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The notice details the repatriation process and identifies the affiliated tribes. Repatriation may occur on or after August 21, 2026.
