Description
The University of Cincinnati has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory includes remains of at least six individuals and 20 associated funerary objects recovered from sites in Butler and Hamilton Counties, Ohio. The cultural affiliation has been determined with the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma, Shawnee Tribe, and the Wyandotte Nation. Repatriation of these remains and objects may occur on or after August 21, 2026.
