Description

Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Groton, CT would like to procure manufactured Hydraulic Flex Hose Fittings per specifications and delivered to the Government facility by December 31, 2026.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial procurement prepared in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Subpart 12.2, effective 1 February 2026, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is intended to result in a single firm‑fixed‑price award.

Solicitation Number N62789‑26‑Q‑1004 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC‑2026‑01, dated 13 March 2026.

This requirement is a 100% Small Business set‑aside. NAICS Code: 332912 Size Standard: 1,000 employees.

CLIN 0001 – Hydraulic Flex Hose Fittings (Straight)

The vendor shall provide a Quantity of seven (7) units of:

FITTING, Nickel Copper, Standard Dimension Ratio, (NICU/SDR) 1" Nominal Pipe Size × –20 HOSE, QQ‑N‑286G; FOR MIL‑F‑24787/3 GR‑VI, TY‑C; CMC‑51‑8230‑16‑20 Equivalent to: AQ: Part number: FJ9366‑1620‑41

CLIN 0002 – Hydraulic Flex Hose Fittings (Dogleg)

The vendor shall provide a Qunatity of four (4) units of:

DOGLEG, Nickle Copper/Stainless Steel, 1‑1/4" × –20 HOSE; 90°, MIL‑H‑24135/9 OR MIL‑F‑24787/5 GR‑VI, TY‑D; CMC‑51‑8260‑20‑20 Equivalent to: AQ: FJ9343‑2020‑41

Vendors shall submit technical specifications and pictures/drawings for all fittings with the quotation package.

The vendor shall provide shipping for all items to the Government facility. Partial shipments are not permitted.

Quote Format Requirements

Quotes shall clearly display the following totals:

The Government will evaluate offers by adding the total price for all line items. Evaluation of all line items does not obligate the Government to award all line items.

The Government intends to evaluate quotations and make an award without discussions. However, discussions may be conducted if determined necessary by the Contracting Officer.

The Government will notify offerors if a submission is missing any required elements. Offerors must provide the missing information within 24 hours of notification.  Failure to respond within the 24-hour window will result in the submission being deemed technically unacceptable and ineligible for award.

Evaluation Factors for Award:

Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is determined the lowest price technically acceptable and meets the delivery date of 31 December 2026.

Quotes are due no later than 12:00 PM EST, 7 August 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
