Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) is seeking a contractor for a one-time project to modify the instrument air system at its Richmond Plant in Philadelphia. - Government Buyer: - Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) - OEMs and Vendors: - Ingersoll-Rand (existing compressors and dryers to be removed) - Sullivan Palatek (new compressors to be installed) - Next Air & Gas (new desiccant dryers to be installed) - Products/Services Requested: - Demolition and removal of two Ingersoll-Rand compressors and two Ingersoll-Rand desiccant dryers, including associated piping, ductwork, and conduit - Installation of two Sullivan Palatek compressors and two Next Air & Gas dryers (both supplied by PGW) - Installation of a ventilation fan, building louvers, new piping, HVAC ductwork, and conduit - Provision of all other materials, labor, tools, equipment, and services required for the project - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and certified payroll submission - 100% performance and payment bonds required - Comprehensive insurance coverage naming PGW and PFMC as additional insureds - Mandatory site survey attendance for eligibility to bid - Electronic invoicing and ACH payment required - All subcontractors must be approved by PGW - One-year warranty on workmanship and materials post-completion - Contractor must comply with PGW's anti-drug policy for pipeline personnel - Project may be cancelled with thirty days' notice - Labor force must avoid stoppages or disturbances

Description

This solicitation is for a one-time project to provide labor, supervision, and project management for instrument air system modifications at the Richmond Plant in Philadelphia, PA. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all materials not supplied by PGW, as well as labor, tools, equipment, and services as detailed in Specification No. 3186. A mandatory site survey is scheduled, and bids must be submitted electronically via PGW Procureware by the specified due date.
