USDA Forest Service Solicits Flooring Replacement at Jeffco Airtanker Base

This opportunity is for flooring replacement at the Jeffco Airtanker Base, managed by the USDA Forest Service, Intermountain Region. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Intermountain Region (CSA Intermountain 8) - Arapaho & Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grassland - Scope of Work: - Removal and disposal of existing flooring layers down to the concrete slab (approx. 1,997 sq ft) - Installation of new epoxy flooring (approx. 1,501 sq ft) and vinyl flooring (approx. 824 sq ft) - Installation of transitions at doorways and rubber cove base (6 units specified) - Furniture moving and storage included (lump sum) - Cleaning, touch-up paint, and professional cleaning after installation - Contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and a 5-year warranty - Products/Services Requested: - Textured, poured epoxy flooring (color to match existing entry vestibule) - Snap-together, floating vinyl flooring (wood texture and color to match existing) - Transitions and rubber cove base (type and color to be determined post-selection) - Notable Requirements: - Small business set-aside under NAICS 238190 (Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors) - Coordination with U.S. Forest Service Fire Operations and compliance with site safety - Deliverables include schedules, material submittals, accident prevention plans, and warranties - Work hours are Monday–Friday, 0800–1700, with possible weekend work - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are mandated; contractor may select commercial-grade materials meeting project specifications.

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued for the the Jeffco ATB Flooring Replacement.  The scope of the work includes the removal of existing flooring and installation/placement of new epoxy flooring, vinyl flooring, transitions, and rubber cove base.  Refr to SOW for full project requirement. 

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238190 – Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors. (Epoxy application contractors)    The small business size standard is $19M  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
