Description

This project involves the removal of 100% of the conifer component from the meadow environment adjacent to Trout Creek in South Lake Tahoe through hand and mechanized thinning. The work requires a Type A Licensed Timber Operator with access to low psi cut-to-length machinery and experience working in sensitive meadow environments. The contractor is responsible for all aspects of conifer removal, material processing, chipping, hauling, and site protection in compliance with environmental regulations. The project includes a base bid area and several additive alternate sites, with work to be completed between September 1 and October 15, 2026, and within 15 months of the Notice to Proceed.
