Description
The Berkeley County Development Authority (BCDA) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from experienced private-sector developers for a public-private partnership to develop Project Allstar, a destination sports, recreation, entertainment, hospitality, and commercial development in Berkeley County, West Virginia. The project includes an approximately 145,000 square foot indoor/outdoor sports/events complex on BCDA-owned land near Interstate 81, with a total site area of approximately 256.6 acres. The sports/events complex will occupy about 72 acres, with the remaining land available for commercial, hospitality, retail, restaurant, entertainment, service, and other support uses. BCDA seeks a qualified sub-developer to plan, finance, recruit tenants, construct, lease, sell, operate, and/or manage portions of the project site to complement the sports complex and maximize long-term economic impact for Berkeley County.
