(electrical) - Products and OEMs: - Weatherproof coverplates (Hubbell Taymac #MM410C or approved equal) - Leviton wiring devices (5-15R, 5-20R, GFCI receptacles, switches) - Panelboards from Cutler Hammer, Square D, Siemens, ABB - Full Voltage Non-Reversing (FVNR) magnetic motor starters (CSA compliant) - Emergency lighting fixtures (Aimilite, Beluce, Emerg-i-lite, Lumacell, Lithonia, Lumark, Keene) - Notable Requirements: - All materials and equipment must be new and CSA approved - Approved equals allowed for specified electrical devices and panelboards - Local subcontracting for electrical and plumbing trades within 50 km is mandatory - Compliance with National Building Code of Canada, National Plumbing Code, National Energy Code for Buildings, and Saskatchewan regulations - Prescriptive energy code requirements: minimum insulation R-values, air leakage standards - Bid security, performance and payment bonds, and insurance required - Evaluation criteria reward local economic benefit

The Rural Municipality of Sarnia No. 221 invites sealed tenders for the construction of a new municipal shop and cold storage facility located at Parcel D, Plan101128744 EXT 47 within NW ¼ SEC. 15 – TWP. 23 – RGE. 25 W.2M. Holdfast, Saskatchewan. The scope of work includes utility connections, concrete slab-on-grade foundation, erection of a pre-engineered steel or wood-frame building, installation of metal siding and roofing, overhead and pedestrian door installation, and basic electrical and heating. A mandatory site meeting is scheduled for July 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. CST at the municipal office in Holdfast. Tenders must be submitted by August 19, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. CST.
