Description

The Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network (FRSAN) program aims to establish a network connecting individuals engaged in farming, ranching, and other agriculture-related occupations to stress assistance programs. The program provides competitive grants to State Departments of Agriculture, State Cooperative Extension Services, and qualified nonprofit organizations to address stress and behavioral and mental health challenges, including suicide risk, among farmers. The program will fund four Regional Centers nationwide and a National Farmer Distress Helpline to provide crisis intervention and support services.
