The FBI's Laboratory Division is seeking proposals from small businesses for the procurement of ten (10) specialized Crime Scene Management Vehicles (CSMVs) to support Evidence Response Teams nationwide. - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Laboratory Division, Finance and Facilities Division, Procurement Section - Products Requested: - 6 Small Crime Scene Management Vehicles (SCSMV) - Based on Dodge Sprinter 3500XD or equivalent chassis - 4-cylinder high output diesel engine, all-wheel drive, custom fabricated interior, advanced electrical/communications systems, generator, HVAC, custom cabinetry, emergency lighting - Minimum vehicle length: 270 inches; minimum gross vehicle weight: 10,999 lbs - Delivery to: Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Anchorage, Baltimore, Detroit - 3 Large Crime Scene Management Vehicles (LCSMV) - Based on Ford F-550 Super Duty or equivalent chassis - 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel engine, dual diesel fuel tanks, 4-wheel drive, custom aluminum body, advanced electrical/communications, generator, HVAC, custom cabinetry, emergency lighting - Minimum vehicle length: 312 inches; minimum gross vehicle weight: 19,000 lbs - Delivery to: Denver, Jacksonville, San Diego - 1 Air-Transport Large Crime Scene Management Vehicle (ATLCSMV) - Same as LCSMV with modifications for U.S. Air Force C-5 Galaxy air transport approval (8 steel tie down rings) - Delivery to: Miami - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vehicles must meet detailed technical specifications for chassis, electrical, communications, and custom interiors - The ATLCSMV must be certified for air transport on a C-5 Galaxy aircraft - Contract includes pre-production, mid-build, and final inspections - Warranty: 5 years/50,000 miles for structural body and engine; lifetime warranty on electrical components - Training for government personnel is required - Firm Fixed Price, one-time buy, small business set-aside - OEMs Mentioned: - Ford (F-550 Super Duty chassis) - Dodge (Sprinter 3500XD chassis) - Vendors: - No specific vendors or upfitters named; open to equivalents meeting specifications

Description

This solicitation is to provide ten (10) Crime Scene Management Vehicles that will be delivered to ten (10) different FBI Field Office locations within 18 months after award. The Government plans to award a one-time buy, firm fixed price, purchase order as a Small Business Set-Aside. Please reference all attached documents for detailed instructions and requirements.
