The U.S. Forest Service, under the Pike - San Isabel National Forests and Comanche & Cimmaron National Grasslands, is soliciting quotes for a comprehensive site improvement project at the Timpas Picnic Area in Colorado. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Forest Service, Pike - San Isabel National Forests and Comanche & Cimmaron National Grasslands - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments - Products and Services Requested: - Mobilization and site preparation - Demolition, clearing, and grubbing - Installation of new furnishings and signage - Construction of 4,690 sq ft of concrete trails and site work - 2,775 sq ft of revegetation and seeding - Replacement of pedestal grills and trash cans - Staining of 300 linear feet of fencing - Construction of 325 linear feet of additional parking areas and wheel stops - 6,450 sq ft of road obliteration and revegetation - Option for 18,100 sq ft of parking area aggregate top dress - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Emphasis on the order of work as described in the Statement of Work - Site visit required prior to bid submission - Project includes both base and option items for flexible scope

Description of Work:  The proposed project's goal is to improve the site amenities and reduce deferred maintenance at the Timpas Picnic Ground near Timpas, Colorado:

a. Base Bid Items - the proposed project includes and should be done in the following order: i. Installation of new picnic ground pathways. ii. Replace pedestal grills.
