Parks Canada is seeking heavy civil construction services for the replacement of a single sluice concrete control dam and an adjacent earthen side dam located in Highlands East Township, Haliburton County, on the Trent Severn Waterway reservoir lakes. The scope includes temporary facilities and site works, cofferdam construction, water diversion and management, removal of existing structures, excavation and foundation treatment, construction of the concrete main and side dams, and miscellaneous fabrications. The work must maintain seasonal water levels during navigation and comply with environmental restrictions related to fish spawning and bird and turtle nesting periods. The contractor must complete the work by June 1, 2028, with an estimated contract value over $5,000,001 CAD, taxes extra.
