Bullitt County Schools is seeking proposals for a leased, fully managed Wide Area Network (WAN) service to connect its Spring Meadows site to the district's network head-end in Shepherdsville, KY. - Government Buyer: - Bullitt County Schools (Board of Education, Shepherdsville, KY) - Products/Services Requested: - Leased lit network capacity (WAN service) between Spring Meadows and the district network head-end - Minimum 10 Gbps per endpoint, scalable up to 100 Gbps - Technology-neutral: fiber, hybrid, cable, DSL, copper, satellite, or microwave solutions accepted - Installation and initial configuration at both sites - Fully managed service with detailed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) - 99.99% uptime - Latency under 25ms - Low jitter - 24x7x365 support - No contention or oversubscription - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Pricing must be provided for at least 10 Gbps connections and allow for future service level changes - Proposals must comply with E-Rate program rules, including SPI invoicing and Lowest Corresponding Price - Exclusion of equipment from companies deemed national security risks per FCC Order 19-121 - Installation and special construction costs must be clearly separated from recurring costs - Vendors must provide references, a ready-to-execute contract, and a network WAN diagram - Procurement is open to all qualified vendors; district reserves the right to reject or re-bid - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the procurement is open to all qualified providers - Contract term is 5 years with up to 5 optional one-year extensions, contingent on E-Rate funding approval

Bullitt County Schools seeks to lease lit network capacity to provide an eligible Standalone Data Transmission (WAN) Service between its eligible site and its network head-end at Bullitt County Board of Education in Shepherdsville, KY, starting July 1, 2027. The site to be connected is Spring Meadows in Mt Washington, KY. Proposals must include pricing options for at least 10 Gbps connections, allow for service level changes during the contract, and use E-Rate SPI invoicing. The contract duration is 5 years with up to 5 optional one-year extensions, contingent upon obtaining E-Rate funding.
