NASA Sole Source Procurement of Exyn Nexys LiDAR System and Accessories

NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center is seeking to procure advanced LiDAR mapping and sensing equipment for infrastructure-free SLAM mapping and on-site data processing. - The procurement is a sole source action to EXYN TECHNOLOGIES INC for the Exyn Nexys system and related accessories. - Equipment includes: - Nexys Pro System Hesai (EX-2120HA) - Hesai XT32M2X LiDAR sensor (EX-2164) with 1,920,000 points/second and triple return capability - Nexys GPS Accessory (EX-2165) for hand-carry and ground vehicle captures - Backpack for Nexys and Nexys Pro (EX-2199) - Ricoh THETA X 360 Camera with interface kit - Each item is requested in a quantity of one. - The system supports portable, adaptable mapping without the need for GPS or prior infrastructure, and enables on-site data processing and 3D map generation. - The period of performance is 5-6 weeks after receipt of order (ARO). - NASA is open to capability statements from other vendors, but EXYN TECHNOLOGIES INC is currently identified as the only source. - NAICS code is 541519 (Other Computer Related Services).

Description

Synopsis:

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for LiDAR  Exyn Nexys Purchase. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to   EXYN TECHNOLOGIES INC 2118 Washington AVE STE 1000  Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19146-2842, United States   under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that   EXYN TECHNOLOGIES INC is the sole provider of LiDAR  Exyn Nexys Purchase.

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541519.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 7/24/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
