This opportunity seeks vendors to modernize electrical and communications infrastructure for a workspace at Scott Air Force Base, supporting new modular furniture and workstations. - Government Buyer: - United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), Command, Control, Comm & Cyber Systems (TCJ6) - 375th Contracting Squadron (375 CONS), U.S. Air Force, Scott Air Force Base, IL - Products and Services Requested: - Disconnect and reconnect power for 26 modular furniture systems - Install 7 power whips (2 circuits each, up to 8 workstations per whip) - Install 2 recessed duplex receptacles for non-systems furniture workstations - Install 2 recessed duplex receptacles for printers (UPS-fed) - Remove old copper and fiber cabling - Install and terminate 28 shielded CAT6A communication drops (with faceplates, patch panels, keystone RJ45 modules) - Install and terminate 28 OM4 fiber optic drops (with faceplates, patch panels, keystone fiber modules, under RAF zone box) - Install 2 shielded RJ45 patch panels and 1 fiber optic patch panel in Communications Room 267 - Route 2 OM4 fiber trunk cables from Room 268 zone box to Comm Room 267 - Test and label all circuits and cables per TIA/EIA standards; provide test reports - Quantities: - 7 power whips, 4 duplex receptacles, 28 CAT6A drops, 28 OM4 fiber drops, 2 RJ45 patch panels, 1 fiber patch panel - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with TIA/EIA standards - Security and background checks required for contractor personnel - All work to be completed within 45 days after receipt of order - Government will perform final patching to network switches - Subject to Free Trade Agreements; evaluation is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable - No specific OEMs or part numbers are specified; vendors may propose suitable commercial solutions meeting the requirements

Description

This requirement is for non-personal services to deliver electrical and communications cabling and equipment to modernize Bldg 1900 East, Room 268 at Scott AFB. The contractor will disconnect existing power for 13 legacy workstations and install electrical routing, including 7 systems furniture whips to support 26 new workstations, 2 recessed duplex receptacles for 5 non-systems workstations, and 2 UPS-fed duplex receptacles for printers. The communications scope includes removing old copper and fiber cabling, running 52 shielded CAT6A drops and 52 OM4 multi-mode fiber runs, installing an under-floor zone box, and routing two OM4 fiber trunk cables to Comm Room 267. The contractor will terminate and patch all cabling into the new patch panels in Comm Room 267; final patching of drops to the base network switches will be performed by the Government. Work must be completed in close coordination with the furniture assembly schedule. The projected completion date for all delivery and installation activities is no later than 45 Days ARO.

This procurement will be conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) in accordance with RFO Part 12 for the acquisition of commercial products and services. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to the responsible offeror whose quote represents the best value to the Government. 

The anticipated award date is 14 August 2026. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements.

All responsible sources may submit a quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency.
